Emily Berkman, MD MA (she/her) is an associate professor of pediatrics at Seattle Children/s Hospital/University of Washington School of Medicine. She is in the divisions of pediatric critical care and bioethics and palliative care and is a member of the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics and Palliative Care. She is currently the associate director of organizational ethics where her scholarly work focuses on issues of justice and equity related to resource allocation, prioritization and institutional policy.
