Joelle Robertson-Preidler, MA, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics at the McGovern Medical School in Houston, TX. She has a PhD in Biomedical Ethics from the University of Zurich and completed a Clinical Ethics Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Her research interests focus on equitable communication and decision-making for patients near the end of life, as well as addressing clinical ethics burnout.
