Kerry is a Research Area Specialist Lead at the University of Michigan Medical School. She is a medical sociologist (MA, U-M) and has coordinated many projects, including gender equity issues in medicine, financial toxicity in breast cancer, provider and patient perspectives on reducing low value care, community perspectives on biobank research, health data sharing, and the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare. She has research expertise in democratic deliberation, focus groups, qualitative interviewing and survey research. She also mentors staff and junior faculty in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
