Georgina Campelia PhD HEC-C (she/they) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Bioethics & Humanities at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Chief of the Ethics Consultation Service at Harborview Medical Center, and a member of the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics and Palliative Care at the Seattle Children’s Hospital Research Institute. Dr. Campelia’s research translates care ethics, feminist ethics and critical theory to clinical ethics, with special attention to relationality, empathy, medical decision-making, caregivers, complex disposition, and restorative justice.
