Renee R. Muthakana is a JD/MA candidate in Law and Bioethics & Science Policy at Duke University. She is a research associate at the NIH and a research fellow at the Duke University School of Medicine and Duke Global Health Institute, focusing on reproductive justice, AI ethics, and health policy. Her work includes co-developing the Universal IVF Justice Framework to evaluate global barriers to equitable IVF access and contributing to governance recommendations on automation bias in clinical decision support. Reneeās scholarship centers on advancing equity, autonomy, and justice in healthcare policy and emerging technologies.
