Timothy F. Murphy, Ph.D. is Professor of Philosophy in the Biomedical Sciences at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago. He is the author most recently of Paid Sexual Encounters among Men: A Study in Ethics and Law (Routledge, 2025). He has written extensively on ethical issues facing sex and gender minorities in healthcare, especially in terms of access and equaity in fertility medicine.
