My name is Kevin Doherty (he/him/his), and I am a Dual Philosophy Ph.D. & MA in Health Justice and Bioethics candidate. Prior to pursuing philosophy, I worked for several years as a mental health and substance abuse counselor. This work set the foundation for my research interests in autonomy, bioethics, and moral responsibility as they pertain to mental illness and the therapeutic relationship.
